Brezelfürstens grandfather?

This illustration could easily have been inspired by some of Fürstens relatives living in the 40'ies? This is how Fürsten would ride his KDF =) Cool drawing borrowed from Pascal Meslet...

VWinter holiday

This weekend I took my family on a ski-holiday in the norwegian mountains. We drove up late in the evening and arrivied in a blizzard and total darkness. The next morning a magnificent view met us as we looked out. The rest of the family were exited about the mountains, I however, spotted something else =) From the windows in the background of the picture I saw this totally awesome Snowtrac. It turned out to be a 58, the first production year, and one of the first in norway. 30 HP engine, standard 3-spoke steering, and a lot of other cool VW items. It has a certain cal-look stance as well, don't you think? The norwegian mountains have never looked prettier in my eyes =) ... and of course the Snowtrac is driven every winter on 6V...*Knechten*

The Lounge

Having a soft-spot for classic Cal-lookers and their history, we have noticed some interresting things happening on the internet lately. And it's all served from Norway by a couple of cal-look enthusiasts. We really must take our hats off for what they have accomplished in a short period of time. It all seemed to start out as a european cal-look forum, but have become THE cal-look internet forum worldwide.

If you have read Keith Seumes Cal-look bible and thought that you knew all abut the cal-look community in the seventies, you should visit the Lounge. Many the guys from back in the seventies have joined the Lounge, and are sharing storys and pictures from the time when it all started. Cal-look history is written all over again and it's taking place on a norwegian VW forum. Don't miss out on this!

A moment to remember

As we like to think of our selves as ambassadors of Norwegian 6V VW action, we are more than happy every time we come across some interesting stuff. We have seen these pictures before, but they can not be seen to often. It's not everyone that can take what they have on the shelf and throw together a ride like this for a single days purpose. But luckily there is a man with courage enough do so, Mr. Norwegian VW museum himself. For the average man this car looks like it's heading for the scrapyard, but in this case the car is more like a display-stand for the accessories. The pictures are taken early in the new millenium, and for the people who knows this man today, the car looks a little to new. So to even that out, he brought his 43 KDF to Bad Camberg last summer. We hope for more stunts from this man in years to come... The pictures speak for them selves, but that GTI badge must have been photoshopped into the picture??

VW-money for Oval57`s birthday 12.02.08!

Early this year Oval57 gave a message to the people wich give him presents for his birthday, that he only want MONEY for building up his split. SplitBoy did understand and made some cool VW-money! This money is only for buying VW-parts, making the split running this year! Thank you SplitBoy and my family for understanding!

Certtified 6V VW-mechanic in the garage?

Last night, we were lucky enough to be visited by an old experienced VW-mechanic from a VW dealer in our humble 6V garage...?
Ehrm...Or is that Oval57 using his newly accquired anitque, OG VW-mechanic suit from a local VW dealer, hoping that the suits experience and knowledge will pass on to him?
Nevertheless, it looks like he has a good grip and a plan for this old 25hp engine....

Back in the day these guys lived in the dark..?

Say no more? What happens here? Two normal (?) boys working on the famous Norwegian-made Widereøe "Lillebror" campingtrailer. Oval57 got one of the earliest (1957), and SplitBoy got one 1960-model. At this time we had other cars as well; 1956 oval, 1957 oval, 1962 T244 SAMBA and a 1963 "homemade cab". A few years ago we sold the campingtrailers and invested the money in pre-53 volkswagen metal..... the rest you can read on our blogs!

Everyday action

It's not often you spot a samba on norwegian roads. And if you should be lucky enough to do so, it's often in show and shine condition under the sun. Therefore this picture from 2007 with Mr. T2 Man in action is worth posting. A T2 in it's everyday environment. This is without doubt the cleanest T2 in Norway, and it happens to be a samba as well =)

The Life and Cars of Gustav T

We put a new link in our list of friends today =) A danish gentleman with probably some of the best 1000-hits babes on the net... And of course a lot of other cool VW stuff from Denmark, enjoy =)

Gustav T

3000 Hits

Make sure to reach 4000 relatively fast, because we have seen better 6V frauleins =) But on the other side, this proves that there are split-cabs out there, but getting to them can turn ugly... The myth about the widow and her split-cab is still alive =)
