Norwegian banana bumper add

Years ago, when I had time to travel all over the place looking for VW treasures, I came across this add in a norwegian newspaper. Quality is poor because of a crappy xerox.. I wish i had taken a photo instead..

Where it all started

It all started before I was born.. My father bought a 356A eight years before he met my mom. He drove it only three months before he crashed it into pieces.. The only part he saved was a piece of paper with the sweedish registration number on. Now - after 42 years - I found some papers in a registry, confirming that it was a 1959 356A. Its in my blood:-)

What's cooking?

Snow covers the sechs volt barn these days….but in the kitchen a special brew boils on the kitchen stove.

Bringing an old 50’s carb back to life….when spring comes, it will whistle in the back of a vintage vw once again =)

Bad Camberg 2011 Road trip

On our road trip to BBT and Bad Camberg we were spotted by the SuperVW Magazine of France. A sneak peak shot of the october issue. Nice to see many of our good VW friends from around Europe in the same article :)

Taking our flat-fours out for a ride

The end of the air-cooled season is coming upon us, so we decided to turn this week's blue monday into an air-cooled one. Some of us met at a diner just north of Oslo, kicked some tires, ate some retro dinner and talked about plans for the winter..which of course is quite a long list.. as usual! =)

Question: Whats correct for a 1951 bug?

I've got lots of Wolfsburg badges lying around and see some small differences. Here is a good example. Take a look at the tail of the wolf and the bricks in the second row from the bottom of the castle... Details details..
