Ops! We almost forgot to show you some pictures from Bad Camberg. And Since it is I - *Fürsten -* witch is posting these pictures, it will be lots of Karmann pictures:-)

Pilgrimage – going back to the roots, literally..

After driving one and a half hour i finally came to the place where the wreck of my 51 Karmann kab once was found back in 1977. The guy that discovered the car – or should I say the remains of the car - told me it was growing a tree inside it back then.. I would really love to find a photo of it before it was rescued, but so far I've been unable to find one. Anyway, the spot was quite easy to find thanks to KAs great memory after all these years.

Now,many years later there was nothing to see on the same spot, except broken bits of glass. And – yes - i checked all the bits for SEKURIT logos, but could not find any...

Summer vacation

Hold your horses!

This is so silly... Do you remember the economy meters that was fitted in many cars in the eighties and nineties? Well, this is in a very strange way the same thing. The big difference is that instead of looking at a gauge, you have to rest your eyes on this horse and see how its dancing around. This part turned up at the big swap meet in Bad Camberg and got lots of attention. But the best of all was that a norwegian sechsvolt friend actually bought it:-)! I am really looking forward to see it in the car K.L!

Oldspeed - vintage speed - gute fahrt

Its time to tell about the 36 HP oldspeedproject. Every thing is overhauled and NOS or new parts of high quality is used. The man putting the engine together is av very skilled motorguy.
The engine will run with a "Okrasa" camshaft, increased compresion ratio, two carbs, FRAM oilcleaner and more. The engine will be ready as shortblock this week, and I can`t wait to start mounting it.

Official opening

Our true vintagefriend Svein Olav have been busy the last two years building a dreamgarage. His other garage is not to be shamed of either, but the new one has got all opportunities to work on the cars, over and under. Svein Olav invited some of the hardest Vintage-nuts in Norway over for a cup of coffe and some tirekicking. The new garage is totally amazing - and very detaljed in every way. Enjoy it T2 man!
