Bug-in #18
This spring, Norway's oldest vw-aftermarket shop - Hot Shop - chose to reintroduse their classic vw show; Bug-in!
The first show since the 90's, it was a beatiful spring day, with nearly 170 air-cooled vws attending. Giving huge discount in the shop, people gathered in crowds inside to find a good deal.
We're looking forward to next year! =)

Type 15A from behind
The 15A body are getting more and more complete these days. There are still some small areas that will need attention here and there, but I can see the end of the tunnel now:-)

Another update of the convertible
The split convertible has now got its windshield back on and a "new" spear wheel well. It still need some finishing work here and there, but i can't wipe that smile of my face when I see this picture :-). A new front- and rear apron from Wolfparts are also on its way as we speak.

Back from the dead
This has to be the most motivating blogpost I've written so far. Its hard to describe the feeling when you see the main parts of the car coming back together again. A voice in my head also said: You're crazy to put this amount of work into that pile of crap..

Converting steering wheels
It seems like every project I start lasts for at least four years...I choose to blame family life for that:-)
I allways wanted to convert original Petri wheels the best possible way i could think of. Finally I came up with the idea you can see in the drawing. This schould be quite difficult to spot even from the backside. *Fürsten*

Rallye fever
After attending the Petermax Muller Gedechtnis Rennen in the summer of 2013 a rallye fever suddenly struck up north. The Sechs Volt garage was suddenly right in the middle of it all. This leading up to the Flugplatz Scmutz Rennen, an all gravel fiesta for solid generator stand vw's. We will come back with more from the Petermax, Schmutz Rennen and some behind the scene details. The Sechs Volt Garage is tuning back in on the web...

Visit to the Hazet garage
Yesterday, we were invited to T2-man for a nice dinner, coffee and a whole lot of tyre-kickin'. Just what we needed when the outside temperature dropped to -21 degree C!
His Hazet-garage is a work of art and provides a perfect atmosphere for vw chat. We also looked at the current project, a 1957 cab which is in for a little bit of metal work. Both funky green metal and parts from "forest wrecks" are used to bring the car back to its former glory. Can't wait to see it finished!
